Scraping ice off the windscreen in May, not what I wanted after what seems to have been months of dreary weather.

other than the few days around the end of Feb - beginning of March and a repeat a couple of weeks later it’s never been overly severe but, ignoring the various calendar options of what is classed as winter,  I can’t remember one which has lasted as long as this one with Snow every month from November to April and now frost from October through to May.

Ice! Bloody hell that is grim. Still using the flaming heating here from time to time, thought it was coming Moki??? Still waiting, no warmth here. ?

Eno Equator has just said that it’s been a lovely day today.

Well unless it was sunshine I was getting soaked through with early this morning and again this afternoon and the water running down the Irwell was Mountain Dew then I think there were some slight variations across the region.

credit where it’s due though, decent enough now although a bit coolish.

Horrid start to Wednesday, but by 10.30 the White Coppice and Brinscall area was bathed in sunshine.  I have never seen it looking more beautiful!  Perfect for our club walk.

I can't believe there is still such a chill in the air for this time of year!! Fed up of feeling cold, especially as it's May!! I can stand the cold in winter... But this is ridiculous. Come on sun, get that blowtorch fired up. It's about time we had a proper long spell of warmer, brighter weather!!

Well at least we've got a nice bank holiday weekend coming up.  Temperatures in low 20's and hopefully some decent sunny spells.  Picnic lunch lined up for Sunday afternoon, hope the forecast holds true.

Hope we get the 18c and sun forecasted by the Met Office for Monday, dont think we've had anymore than 3 days over 15c, been a very poor spring imby.

Went swimming this afternoon with friends under an almost cloudless blue sky at Nantwich Outdoor Brine Pool. They've also laid Astroturf on part of poolside, very nice for sunbathing.  Didn't have a thermometer but I'd say the air temp was 21C or higher.  Before any pedants try to quote me stats, the brine pool is a walled lido so sheltered from any breeze.

Far too warm today. Only took the dog for a 10 minute walk and nearly passed out. Still feel nauseous now. No cloud to mitigate the sun, no breeze to speak of, and it feels a good 3 degrees warmer than it likely is. Some forecasts don't show the overnight temps tomorrow falling below 17c. I would kill for a body that finds conditions like today enjoyable.

I'm the same in that I enjoy temperament weather with blues skies and the occasional breeze, but having half the house facing west in the afternoon makes things uncomfortable especially when the humidity is high. I was due to have a morning hike up Kinder Scout tomorrow but i'll be giving it a miss given the temps are forecast 4'c higher and with more humidity underneath intermittent cloud.

Also a potential of a few home-grown storms breaking out across Cheshire/Derbyshire and don't want to miss those.

Not a big heat fan especially in the UK but this weekend has been just perfect

Weather and Temperature wise my limit for the UK is 25c anything above and I

Struggle another cracking day tomorrow before the break down later on Tuesday.
