Another air frost, lost count of the number we had so far this month, it is turning into a notably frosty month. Cold out now, but cloud will prevent a frost tonight, but the threat of frost lingers in the days ahead, and a generally cold feel is going to take over.

Aye but the frost came in quite late, it was clear at 3 am, but frosty by 6 am

It will just be wet slush now, I've gone past the interest for anything wintry, even the fine powdery snow from the mini beast the other week did nothing for me.  I want spring now, of course I don't expect to get it anytime soon and cold rain & wind will most likely be on the menu in the next week or two

No temperatures  above 11°C this week here despite temperatures in the mid teens not too far away. The wind has been on-shore a lot of the time which would account for this. We’re getting to the point now where a cold Irish sea starts to become a hindrance again.

Convective chances every day for the rest of this week especially from tomorrow. Today the flow is on-shore so there will be nothing worthwhile west of the M6. Tomorrow and Friday though look really rather interesting with some instability, modest CAPE, Low 500 mb temps and off-shore winds under a trough.

But drop rapidly inbetween showers the last shower temperature dropped to 3c.

From the city centre it appears that the showers are dropping white stuff on the tops of the Peak. Around Dovestone in particular right now.

Sleet, hail icy, rain showers.... still snow drifts at 500m... 5c dropping to 2c in heavier showers... still don’t believe there will be any snow at weekend or next week...

The Beast from the East part 3 is just a myth here. I'm not expecting any snow at all this Easter.

I am looking for warmth now as I changed my Profile picture for Summer!! :D

Been sunny here all day today until just Now when I went out and it started hailing. The best part three has been a myth for a while after a few models did show it for a day. Still might see a little snow on Monday and Tuesday but I have no interest in it now I have work to do!
