Yes mate, the showers coming into the Hull area now look to have more about them.

Yes, starting to look quite good out East. I remain optimistic. We don't know if it will pan out as planned, but what we do know is that the metoffice haven't felt the need to change the warnings for today having taken account of the latest data and high res models still support this.

It's been great here today. Heavy snow on and off, whiteout at times (have video i'll upload later). Showers really have some oomf to them. I know the strong March sun is causing the snow to melt, but it's also fueling them and causing them to be this powerful and make it this far west, so don't knock it!

Had a few light snow showers through the day so far, nothing sticking due to not enough of it despite some big flakes and sun being out for most of the day

Flakes appear to be getting bigger with each shower. Convection is brilliant.

Shower departing and has left a slight covering on grass and some roofs.

Any showers like that overnight and there will be a covering by morning.

Definitely a more Westerly push with the showers coming in from the East now. Looking great for areas around Greater Manchester Westwards and Southwards this evening and overnight.

I've noticed the showers find it much harder to get here when it turns more NE'ly

Another snow shower passing through with blizzard like conditions.

Noticeable now is how readily the snow is settling.

Yes and the sun is on its way down now and there are less sunny gaps between showers. Bodes well for the rest of the night
