Are you at home mate? Looks like you are in the best spot for once so good luck to you as I think you've been in the worst spot all Winter. :good:

Just leaving for work now put a good covering down but quickly melted away hopefully later the fun will begin when the damm sun does one.

Edit

Here we go again BOOM

Cracking the flags out there now...strong sunshine, although I can see the late afternoon showers forecasted now lining up to the east.  So conditions could & will change very rapidly

A few flakes blowing around. What fun. Just what I’ve always wanted. 2.5°C. max today was 3.6°C. Not great so far.

Snow showers on and off all day so far, the last couple have been heavier, but still very shortlived, 5-10 minutes tops, before the blue sky and sunshine is back, then back to snow showers again. Some great cloudscapes. Wind very strong making for a very bitter feel. Hoping later this afternoon we begin to see more longer lasting sustained showery activity, and with the sun lowering, less chance of any settling melting. Mind we need probably a good half hour shower to lay down a patchy cover, and an hour of constant snow to put down a proper covering.

image.thumb.png.f7be7ad839534b8d997807ce105768ba.png Seems to be a stream of showers incoming in the next hour for the south of the region.

Cant acess radar at wprk is there any hope of something more organized even those who were thinking this afternoon must be scratching their heads.

Sorry mate I’m just not feeling this atm. I know that’s unusual for me :-)

I’m going to be out all evening as well so don’t want to miss anything interesting.

Amber warning doesn't kick in till 16:00.... Some decent bands approaching the Hull area now. Are these the first signs of increased activity I wonder? Is there a slightly more Westerly movement now as well to the showers? All to plan so far....

Heavy snow again here. Been showers on and off all day, but any cover out of shade melting in between. Roll on sunset...

Yes mate, the showers coming into the Hull area now look to have more about them.
