A bit of bed weting going on in I see.

The forecast is for snow showers to become more orginsed from mid afternoon onwards always been the case.dont really see the point of getting a covering at the moment it will just melt away in the sun.

Another snow flurry passing through here at the moment as I type.

The first rule of Sod’s law is that everything which will give Landan and the sarf east the lions share of interesting weather will occur.

I don't know about that, they hardly had a flake in last 5 years, thereis still heavy snow showers for the Easter half of the NW region, its just that apart from this one, they are missing me to the South, Glossop getting battered or somewhere near there.

Massive gap in the showers stretching right across the country with my location just at the southerly point so unless something changes with the entry point of what’s leaving the North Sea it looks like a cold but dry afternoon of outside jobs for me coming up.

Very short lived light to moderate snow showers passing through. Not sticking.

Manchester and Liverpool TAF now show a 40 per cent probability of snow from mid afternoon to tomorrow morning that is the highest probability that airport TAFS use and are very rarely issued Manchester airport remains on level 3 winter alert for snow and ice for the next 24hr period. As posted above not really meant to get going until mid afternoon onwards so no worries on my part. And if it does not go to plan so what it the weather and there nothing we can do about it apart from moan like hell

Thanks for update CS. This ties in with latest EURO4 which looks great for Southern half of region at least.

Edit: also looks fine for Northern parts of region this evening. :)

Woah really heavy with fine flakes. It's all blowing everywhere though as it lays, this is the problem with these conditions :(
