This is what the precipitation charts were showing before the last easterly but in the end the snow showers were much more widespread. In other words, take no notice.

Good to see the UKMO joining the easterly party! :)

Fair enough - but the question was asked.

IMHO its too early to know where any snow showers will fall.

And i will be boycotting euro4 again , it was useless during the last easterly and it will likely be useless during this one.

Yes, we need to wait for a couple of days. I guess showers are hard to get picked up from the models.

99% certain we won't get more than 1cm, 90% certain we won't get even get a dusting so i hope the cold snap/spell doesn't happen.

Not joining in the will it won't it debate ... suffice to say the last lot of predictions were pretty much spot on for this part of the NW.  I have no reason, looking at the charts and the forecast wind direction to assume it will be any different this time around.

hello, not been here for almost a week. Notice a possible reload of the easterly, however, I’m surprised the Metoffice want to show it Saturday and Sunday, with temps back to 6c on Monday.

A lovely sunny afternoon. 8.5°C but feels warmer as that sun certainly has some strength in it now. I wouldn’t want to be a Snowflake out in it next week that’s for sure. At least nights are still 12 hours long for the moment.

I don’t know why you bother posting in there tbh. May as well talk to a wall.

That easterly wind over the fell today is cold. Animals are very hungry despite air temperature of 7.
