That’s a very strong anomaly for so far out, 22nd March.

So not without some support ??

And the monkey ? looking like it’s doing it’s toilet appears again ?

Sounds like the monkey's earned itself a good spanking then.

Tomorrow's atmosphere'll be great should the models taketh away what they've previously given!:cray::cray:

18z says no to a foot of snow in Trafalgar square:sorry:, might get a dusting if we are lucky...if you ask me the GFS model will be playing catch up though with the ECM leading the way in the next few days!:D

Up early again, with the wife, who started her shift at 6.45 and doesn't finish until 7, tonight.

Well the ECM, has backed away from it's amazing, easterly of yesterday's 12z but still hints of something colder, in most overnight models, after next weekend.

Amazing to think, this time last week, it was deep, crisp and even, outside!!

Cheltenham Festival looks to get off, to a dry, mild start and stay on the mild-ish side all week, after cold weather, had looked likely, for the end of the week. Best day looks to be Tuesday, with some rain, on a few days, thereafter. Going will probably remain on the soft side, for most of the week, I would think.

Hope you all, enjoy your day.

Regards,

Tom.

Morning all, some risk of elevated convection tonight near the south coast some models don't agree as per the norm but others do.

Then tomorrow/afternoon evening looks like another risk of some kind of convection

I can’t wait until we start talking about French imports!

Just yesterday evening, the MAD thread was like a Boxing Day stampede (rampede) outside Harrods; today, however it's more like the queue waiting outside a Soviet era delicatessen!:D

This will be if they get here, first real import risk, albeit very low and not very high lightning chance.

I have to say although its relatively cold compared to what we do experience, this is the mildest and most humid I've felt in months

Earlier today I spotted the last remnants of lying snow here - here are the remains of what was a 2ft snow bank on the edge of New Ash Green sports field. Also note this snow/ice map of Europe for last Sunday. Pretty extraordinary to see a 99% covering of snow for the British Isles in March.
