What a difference a day makes? From waiting for snow this time yesterday, to hearing thundery rain hammer on the roof, today!:D

Talking of frogs, as some of us were ... i snapped this mass of spawn this afternnon in a field that is often quite flooded. A smaller mass was nearby. Click the image to enlarge it if you like.

Snow but almost vanished here.

So what did this cold spell give me:

Powder snow = check

Ice days = check

Extreme wind chill (UK terms) = check

Decent snowfall (6 inches in total) = check

See you soon hopefully ‘beast’, don’t leave it so long next time and please make sure it lasts longer than a week.

Now back to UK standard = soaking ground and mild rank!!

The dog walk today was business as usual, wet/muddy and green. I miss the crunchy frozen ground and most of all not having to rinse my dogs in the shower after every walk... lol

It was a remarkable few days, I enjoyed it despite only getting a poor 5cm of snow. Outlook is grim with plenty of rain and possibly wind to come, though April and May look warmer than average. Could do with a nice, sunny high pressure sat over us for a few weeks. Rarer than snow!

I apologise if I've been a wee bit gruff of late, it's just that some things really get my goat!

I do hope Morse is on tonight!

You mean he's a vagrant, having no visible means of support?

Hi peeps hope you all are good ?. Just thought I come on here and say hello.

What a difference a week makes hey it's bit sad ? this time last Sunday the extreme cold was on our doorstep and the atmosphere in here was buzzing. I know at this time we were all keeping an eye on the radar and seeing the first hint of blobs develop on the radar, oh boy what a moment that was also knowing that we had a weeks worth of severe cold and snow to look forward to. Sadly it's back to normality now and the beast has left us memories we will cherish for a long time but that is the way it goes if only we could just stop time for those moments.

Anyway been a dreary end to the day here in Walthamstow rain and drizzle. My next chase will start in a couple of months humid and night time storms moving up from France is the next on the agenda now.

Miss all the lovely posts and the lovely full house in here. Will be popping in now and again to say hello.

you all take care stay safe and best wishes for now.

Regards ?????
