Not that I'm technically complaining, as it is still snowing and nearly everything is white... :)

Blimey , more drama in here tonight than an episode of EastEnders , anyway light snow continues here with a light covering on the grass but next to nothing on the paths etc.

I can see why it is easy to be disappointed when you compare our radar to those in the north.

I would do unspeakable things to end up under one of those red showers.

@Daniel* @CK1981 there’s a lot of people here to have a good laugh and talk about the weather and other random stuff. Please can you both be respectful of this and realise your bickering is ruining it for the majority. The need to get the last word or one up is ruining my night and others. Please can you take it to pm so we can enjoy the bants on here without the atmosphere. I’d really appreciate it. If not I still have magic powers from when I was a mod and I’ll remove your posting powers for 24 hours. Many thanks ?

I don’t need the stupid bickering either mate, yet I’m now getting others having a go at me. I’m not here for that. I like to think I have something positive to add

I'm surprised the meto never update their warnings when it goes tits up.

Its the same with the SPC to be fair in the US

Even when a Mod or High Risk is issued and not a cloud forms for a particular reason they let the warning expire at the permitted time, just in case I think

Snow almost stopped here and it seems to be breaking up over me on the current radar.

The roads and paths are melting already as you can here it running down the drain outside. On all other surfaces we have around 5-6 cms so not bad for mid march! :)

Had it not been so warm the last few days it would have settled on the concrete far easier.

Just like confetti here and been like it most of the day. OutIde chairs and tables covered up no roads or pathways. Is it supposed to pick up overnight?

Expectation level 7/10

Reality level 4/10

Light, occly  moderate snow from 5pm but not giving more than a covering here in SE13.

Still, mid March..not a lot to moan about as anything close to an ice day and settling daytime snow in a London suburb is a rare beast.

Difficult call for the Met Office, all the required specs were in place but perhaps they should have stuck to a yellow until they were certain. People changed their plans on the advice of that orange warning and for a lot of us it hasn't come to fruition

I feel like I’m at that part of the night, where the lights come on , everyone’s getting chucked out of the club/bar/pub (delete as per age) and there’s the rowdy ones. You feel like you are sober, but you’re not, and you feel like you may have to swerve this one out.

btw the warning stops at 9am thats 8 hours away is there something else brewing that we are missing

In a word...no. Snow gradually clearing our region over the next three or four hours. The focus then becomes south-west, central Southern England (I think).
