Very light snow in Hailsham, which is settling on garden table, cars etc. so clearly getting the drier, powdery stuff now.

No lamppost in the back garden so a trip to the front door was necessary - very cold, and dare I say it, snow looks a bit heavier in the light of the street lamp. The front garden wall is getting a light covering, and there are some patchy areas on the pavement. Certainly very cold - not really looking forward to my walk - going to dig out the special winter coat - rarely gets an outing. I'll probably be following the forum from the pub on my mobile - locations in posts please (Wallington, Surrey)

Yeah my father confirms this , at tolworth now and virtually nothing . All change hopefully

Holding out that the heavy snow forecast by the met office between 7pm and 3am delivers the 2”/hr we’ve been promised on here!

No chance 😂 , will be lamppost watching most the night , couldn’t enjoy the last event as was unwell and work pressures but have tomorrow off to enjoy , well hopefully.

Reminds me of when I was wee, Mark: there was a defect in my bedroom windowpane; and, year after year, I tried to convince myself that it was a snowflake...So, I'll no' be wasting my time watching lampposts tonight. If there's ten foot of the 'white stuff' when I get up tomorrow then so be it...

Otherwise, a wee bit of autodefenestration might be the order of the day!:shok:

No lamp post but laser pen good for sussing out any down fall of snow. Got to do something when not shooting down airliners. For the gullible only joking.

Isn't that why it's called Hailsham? If it were meant to snow, it's be called 'Snowsham' wouldn't it?:D

Well the current Amber zone is wrong. Unless things change, I’m thinking this will take a more northerly route. Very puzzling!

Trying to get snowflakes out of this, is like trying to get goals out of Emil Heskey and Roberto Soldado combined!:drunk-emoji:

Bitterly cold wind when we popped out for takeaway on Ewell Road, with the same little flakes blowing around we have had all afternoon. Garden table and cars have a bit more icing sugar but I do hope a proper streamer sets up overnight.
