Just a few flakes blowing about in Hailsham.

Radar suggests some heavier stuff incoming but we’ll see...

It's all this one's fault - he's run off with all the snow!

Just starting to snow lightly in Croydon, just before it started there were patches of blue sky appearing after what has been an overcast day, often get clearing skies from subsiding air ahead of a trough or front  like the one bringing the snow west across the SE now.

The heavy patch that just went through Robertsbridge gave more snow than the "main event" yesterday. Everything suddenly white. Snowing less heavily but moderately here at Silver Hill near Salehurst.

Literally just noticed that as I read this comment. Having a walk right now here in Sutton so hopefully we will get it soon.

Posted (edited)

Just back from our trip to Box Hill, no sledging for us but a lovely wintry walk nonetheless. Nice to see some more snow showers due tonight, and seeing reports of snow in Croydon, I was about to say none here, when sure enough, it has started snowing in my back garden here in Wallington. Shame it didn't start a little earlier, snow falling in the Surrey Hills would have rounded off that walk nicely.....

.....snowing briskly now, might have to pop out again

Looks like that's it for me now unless something builds behind this front.
