Always be yourself, and there I nothing wrong with being nuts. I have done that myself for 28 years. :p

Not a lot of interest weather wise today. Just a lot of cloud and dry.

So based on the GFS we just have cold rain. The ECM seems to offer a better chance of snow.

that sucks:angry:

Yeah. Well hopefully the GFS changes for the better, if not we can only conclude there is no snow god afterall, that or you lied about doing the snow dance.Maybe you did it, but forgot to put the bra on your head, did you? Be honest. hehe.

There will be snow again - very late in March and/or during April.

Morning all,

Up early , with a cuppa and a Belgian chocolate cereal bar ( keeping the talk of nutty bars, going ).

Agree with JennyJane, yesterday, still felt cold ( keeping it weather related!! ) and despite heating being on, couldn't get warm, in our lounge. Probably due to builder ( doing bathroom, adaptation ), unavoidably, in and out of the front door, fetching tools and materials, from his van. Very noisy yesterday, lots of drilling and banging, with a couple of "sparkies" connecting up electrics, for shower unit. Colette and I have chosen tiles and flooring, for Wet Room now, which should be completed, in just over a week. Managing " bathroom arrangements" at night, ok. Does remind me of those "dark days", when I first came out of hospital, 2 years ago. Need to get some more of those cardboard bottles, today, @ 65p a throw, this toileting business, isn't cheap!!

Still trying to keep it "weather related", most overnight model runs, paint an unsettled. coldish picture, as we head towards, Easter weekend. With height rises to our W and NW and trough diving SE, across UK. Can us "coldies", squeeze out a white "Good Friday" or Easter weekend? One last hurrah, perhaps??

Hope you all enjoy, your day.

Regards,

Tom. :hi:

When Southernman was dying we had plastic ones, about half a dozen whch i used to rotate and disinfect, much cheaper, and easier than cardboard, can't think where we got them from but i would imagine the chemist would sell them? (i think his nurse supplied them).

Thought it was supposed to be wet and windy this morning? Met still saying "wet and windy early"

Lovely morning here in SW19   8.2c

Beautiful morning here too. Everyone dog walking in Nonsuch Park was very happy, greeting each other and commenting on what a lovely day it is; nice that the ground has started to dry out too, perhaps aided by still quite a brisk wind. It is clouding over now in a 'rain is imminent' kind of a way. Funny to think that only a few days ago I had to clear the car of snow and walk the dog in a thick layer of the stuff. This time next week I'll be in Florida and this morning's sun has made me really look forward to the heat and sunshine.

Just had a nice walk down to Sainsbugs, Lee Green, was able to take my light jacket off halfway, as it felt quite warm in the sun. Even the "Big Issue" man looked happy, rather than the last few times I've seen him, poor blighter looked frozen solid, last week.

Regards,

Tom.

Is it still the rather enthusiastic Romanian looking guy I used to work around there at burnt ash hill- I give him his due he is persistent lol. I guess the weather in his country experiences more extremes than here though. One of my neighbours cars got stuck during beast 1 and a Romanian man came to the rescue and helped her narrowly avoid sliding into another car apparently this sort of weather is common in his part of the world plus 10c colder still he said
