Just been for a walk round the block because I didn't want to miss out on the pleasure of thick granular snizzle hitting me in the face repeatedly. Interestingly enough this fine snow is settling in certain places it failed to yesterday, presumably because the ground has cooled. Here's a pic of New Ash Green sports ground, there was a really grey sheen looking into the middle distance when I took this.

odd.. was just about to post that its definitely intensifying here!  I'm in North Brighton now, up near Five Ways.  Definitely snowing moderately.  Loving it!

Got to hope this back building keeps the snow running the same course by filling it all in - saw Thames streamer on here a few minutes ago but the wind seems the wrong way for south London in that case

That blob I thought was heading for the estuary is heading this way, ene it will hit the estuary too.

It was odd because on our local met office forecast this morning it had prolonged snow

I agree its building in SW motion isn't it into East Kent.

Seems to have pepped up again in Hailsham. Only really settling on the grass but nice nonetheless.

Beautiful dry powdery snow hammering down here.Radar doesn't do It justice.

Blowing around nicely too.

March 18th and sticking again all over.

you were in the horsham snow-shield but i think the power is failing and the snow might break through even here!:D
