The IR on sat24 to my mind looks fairly potent for the SE, a whole trail of cloud on that easterly.

Indeed, I was just looking at that myself.  If it keeps and building intensity, we could be looking at something rather good.  Still precip building in the estuary too.

That's what I meant it's there but not developed,, think Thames streamer of some sort is on though tonight, not sure about east ken although the moisture shown is over us.

heavy snow now, slightly heavier than  yesterday morning. areas that were snow free are showing signs of it settling.

Do anyone think it might start pivot and rotate in a SW direction (anti clockwise motion), influenced by the swirling nature of the LOW in the SW at the moment?

Video game snow here. By that i mean snow that falls but disappears when it hits the ground. Its nice all the same.

The interesting bit is that blob still in France , this doesn’t look like just a simple front given the structure of the precip .

Also a few echoes now apprearing off the Belgium coast .

Its possible the whole area ahead could fill in.

Yamkin i like your report. Thanks for the video.

If this snow could stay until a few hours after nightfall it would be great- we could have a nice covering again

Been snowing here lightly for a couple of hours in SWF, it's perked up a little in the last ten minutes or so.

The next few radar frames could be telling. As Nick S alluded to just now the precip off the Belgium coast seems to be growing every frame.  Snow here is gradually intensifying as well.  Nothing significant yet but this definitely has my attention now!
