Decent 5cms here, could have been a lot more had it not been so mild yesterday

Disappointment tonight, almost in line with the great non-snow event of ‘96(?) when it was a nailed on dump by the Beeb for here, only to awake to snizzle...

the good thing is that after 22 years at least it no longer bothers you

Snowed pretty much non stop all day in London but it didn't settle on pavements and roads. A decent dusting on cars etc. To be expected given the time of year but still interesting to see

Does anybody have any clue about tomorrow evening, I’m not sure much snow at that point will make much difference if we get the temperatures they say we will on monday

By the way, warm and cold weather lovers. Beast From The East Mk III due to hit in time for Easter.   Extraordinary if that comes off.

Might belt it down. Met office chart shows a small low zipping west, tomo night. maybe along the channel. Apps are saying snow for tomo night - but i don't use them.

Still snowing well in Selsdon. According to osm rain pro radar, showing green areas developing well in the circulation to the south. Looks like plenty still to come.

How far in advance did they predict this one as a possibility

It's all the rage in the model discussion at the moment - or was y'day. It was puicked up a few days ago but seems to have firmed up. First thoughts were we'd we'd get a notherly blast. Now looks like The Beast Mk III.  The first week of April can deliver good snowfalls that lie.
