It’s a never ending drive there from down here and you are even further !  My eldest daughter is in her second year history there (loves it) though she is currently doing a few months in Madrid - whatever happened to a normal degree !

It’s normal not too bad, about 2 hours 45 but we went after work today so it took us over 4 hours just to get there!!

Right... So it looks like a Saturday evening/night snow watch. This is screaming out for an alcohol assisted session to me.

What will be the tipple of choice for us SEers?

Like I need an excuse.

Probably vodka, possibly Finlandia or Stoli.

Wishing all the SE contingent all the very best of luck for a good fall of snow over the next 48 hours. Having lived in N. Kent for 23 years I always keep abreast of what is happening weatherwise especially when it snows. I remember 1987, 1991, 2005 to name just a few of the great falls we've had around Sittingbourne on the Downs.

Im now living in SE wales just below the Heads of the Valley and we've had a fantastic winter for snowfall. Now with another amber warning for Sunday here I await our 3rd foot of snow this winter.

Quite remarkabke!

I think I just witnessed the best meteor I have ever seen and I've seen a fair few

Came in from the north/east travelled to the west vivid White burning tail with the most bright green flashes I ever seen it just went of for ages! Maybe 2-3 seconds before dissappearing below the tree line

My word, literally took the air away from me I couldn't belive it.. I was looking down the garden for a fox that keeps getting in and whoosh..

Absolutely bloody amazing I hope someone else saw it and has a camera or something...

I live miles away from you and I just saw the best meteor I have ever seen.

Could be the same one, however it was overhead here and seemed very low.

I've half a bottle of disaronno left over from my birthday, now just patiently waiting for the first snowflakes.:)

Love Amaretto.

”Italian Surfer’s” a cracking cocktail (Amaretto, Malibu, Pineapple and Cranberry juice).

More of a summer drink but what the hell!:drunk-emoji:

Very nice. I like Belvedere

Big fan of that, Ciroc as well as the Goose.

Crystal Skull is a big favourite as well. Middle of the month, so have to be more conservative!

Indeed. I settled for a Smirnoff for tonight but it was on offer at 12.99.

If someone could invent an app that was anywhere near accurate, it wouldnt be so bad. I think Steve Murr should launch one with 15 minute updates. I’d buy it!

Must admit the radar doesn’t look too inspiring for our region. Where are we expecting the ppn to come from?

The sky?
