Felt great in the warm spring sunshine earlier. I love snow as much as the next person, but I’m really looking forward to some spring warmth now.

Unless we get another cold spell with snowfall that settles, I’d rather we be done with winter cold and move towards summer.

The last thing I want is a half hearted cold spell with cold rain or a transient slush fest. Yes, late March can still deliver but it needs to be even more special than what we had a couple of weeks ago.

That's next to impossible. The cold we saw a couple of week ago was a one off. We'd be lucky to see cold like that in the depths of winter. So any cold outbreak to come, will not be nearly as good. That said if were to get -10 uppers it would be good enough to ensure snowfall

Morning all,

I have a theory why we have been seeing these cold, wintry, synoptics, for the past few weeks. It's nothing to do with S.S.Ws and more to do with S.L. ( Sods Law ) But I'll share that with you further into Spring.

Regards,

Tom.

I posted yesterday that I’d like to see spring warmth and no half hearted cold spell.

Well. Those charts this morning have definitely perked my interest for a proper cold spell! Would be incredible if we got -14 uppers into the UK this late in March, so soon after our last cold spell.

Hi everyone, haven’t been in for a few days been extra busy, my mum fell on Thursday and has broken her shoulder so I have been doing stuff for her, my  4 kids have also been ill with a bad cold and cough thing that seems to be doing it’s rounds and I’ve had lots of course work to do. Hope your all ok. The weather here is depressing wet and grey but on the warm side. We did have a few rumbles of thunder yesterday afternoon and somI heavy showers but for the majority of the day it was lovely. The kids were out blowing off some steam from being cooped up from being ill. I have read a few of oats about any ther cold event. When does this look possible ??? And how cold???? Haven’t been to the mod thread in a while (since the shouting about the snow)

I love the lol the alexa weather app gives you in the morning. According to her it was thundering. :shok: bless.

Although i do see some guidance regarding storms i won't hold my breath.

It' s spring, when we going to start ramping thunder instead of snow?

:nonono:
