I would imagine most of our region is snow free now. The thaw here today was very rapid and we had quite a substantial cover.

Nope still around 3 inches here. The temp has never risen above 0C today.

You’re much further north though. I’m guessing anyone London south will be snow free. We have the odd patch left where the sun didn’t get to it. I’m guessing that will be gone by morning.

So, guys, as the beast is dying I was wondering what all your weather preferences are? For me, I love any extremes. Snow and cold in the Winter to heatwaves and severe thunderstorms in the Summer. Spring and Autumn are a bit ‘meh’ for me.

Crazy how quickly it melted, that’s good though as slush is bad. Still freezing cold but raining here now

Evening all :)

A steady and relentless thaw starting overnight has taken most of the snow here. I wouldn't describe today as "mild" - 3c currently and it reminds me of the Monday before Christmas 2010 when we lost half the weekend's snow in a day as warmer 850s crept in.

Coming back across at Dartford there was plenty of fog and low cloud but dry today so far.

Love snow but I get bored easy ... Spring for all the blossom trees ( look like snow when it falls ) summer ( very hot )  to toast my baps ! autumn all the wonderful colours of the trees

Sigh.. Can’t help but reminisce to this time last week where our local BBC Forecaster was predicting “cold but dry with daytime temperatures down to 2 or 3.”
