whichever are more effective for throwing at cats.

Is that one of his other hobbies when he's not doing one of his forecasts?

Well a rather disappointing and feeble end to a short cold snap - full on melt ongoing with all the snow almost gone here. Birds are singing though so they are loving it :)

Def no comparison to 2010 here where the cold spell lasted for weeks and the snow was on the ground for what seemed like forever

Did this rival March 2013, close but I think 2013 lasted a tad longer.

Definately didn’t touch 2010 for me.

wow still all white up here

Have you had any sun though? We had 5 inches of snow which has almost disappeared in the sun. There’s still a cover in the shade though.

IMO, this March has been better by far: loads of snow and some nice drifts...:cold-emoji:

Here's one for the 'Beast 2018' scrap book, chart showing number of hours sub-zero and lowest temps around the East:

I think it came close - longevity was the difference and maybe snowfall for some parts.. Considering the time of year and the strength of the sun this has been an impressive cold blast. December 2010 was phenomenal, but I don't remember dew points as low as we've had over this past 5/6 days?

Not even a hint of the sun, who stole our sun? Still tons of snow here, my road is still bad, mind you we don’t get much traffic to clear it. Was hoping for a rapid thaw, but doesn’t look like here we are gonna get it. Hope the rain tomorrow is warm enough to melt the snow, or ice is going to be even worse than it is now

This thawing is insane. Pretty much well over half melted.
