Looks like the north of the region will be getting more tonight.

My weather sensor in the garden is reading -7c. Does this sound realistic  (based in North Herts and Essex). I do have mostly clear sky.

The METS-yellow and Amber warnings are the same as they have been!!!!

Yep, sounds about right.  I'm measuring -6.5c currently. I suspect the temperature will start to rise soon as the winds pick up.

It’s going to need a change in wind direction for these showers to move in towards London, W Essex, Herts etc.

That wind is due to start shifting after 9pm.

Either gun shots or fireworks just going off ... so either a celebration of the snow or someone hissed off at the lack of it :shok:

When i heard noises like that last year, it turned out to be a drive by shooting around the corner from my house:shok:

Heavier ppn starting to appear on the radar to the East of Suffolk. Looking nice for later on for us in the inland areas of our region.

Being borderline NW-london and south bucks...ourselves are well inthe firing line for thurs/fri likely snow.

😉

Edit; never heard the bang-banging!?

Not a cloud in the sky here. Beautiful cold crisp evening with hardly a breath of wind. -5c already but please send me some snow. Had 2 short showers today and that’s it

Probably a good couple of cm on the ground now and sky clearing ready for the next shower. That line of bright red in the Wash looks like it may just slip south of my location, as I'm towards the north end of Peterborough.

Had a good covering I'm in orton if the pink blob heads as it is should get another good covering
