@KoldWeather  suggesting in the SE thread that it looks like the back edge is slowing down, possibly the system slowing as some models suggested?

This is my fear all along. It will pep up but substantially south of Cambridge - stalling somewhere north of london but south of Duxford and stretching westward to Wales

Hope it's ok to share some pictures I took whilst out around our little village this morning   I won't bore you with them all, but here's a few of my favourites

The thaw not very far away now. An'interesting winter indeed...and coming now to conclusion. Its been emotional and at times frustrating. Over and out. See ya-all november...ish.

Light snow now - radar is patchy between moderate / heavy and very light. Unluckily i can't seem to hit a moderate pulse. Still, the radar suggests a couple of hours before it clears so a cm or two is still likely.

Would be nice to get this topped up, however I do need to still get to work at some point next week.

As you'd imagine given its the end of the school day, this snow is creating a fair few issues in the roads....

doesn't look like it will hang around too long though saint - already quite light and patchy in central london

Oh well, I'll enjoy it while it's falling!

Heavy snow in West Cambs for the past couple of hours. All the roads are white again. Hubby spend most of the morning clearing and salting the paths. Now he’s got to do it all over again :D

@bluearmy I’m noticing the band beginning to slow over the last few frames.

Whats your thoughts blue? Already an inch of snow here fallen within the hour.

Snow has been very heavy in North London for last half hour or so. Roads covered and gritter only went round recently! Does look its slowing now which will mean higher totals of snow. This has been very surprising considering when I looked at the radar earlier I was wondering where this snow would come from!
