All but stoppd now. I think that's our lot in NW London. I don't expect a thaw to kick in until tomorrow morning, so will have a good few hours to enjoy the last of it!

Maybe we could end-up with even more than that, ITSY? Snow is still falling as far south as Kent & Sussex...:santa-emoji:

PS: Just found out that my wee granddaughter has spent the entire day surfing radar sites. I suggested she join NW!:D

Since I last checked the met office site its upgraded us from light snow petering out to heavy snow until 11pm. I know the problems with these forecasts but you do have to wonder if we will get another dumping...:yahoo:

That is a beast, looks to me like it's going to get dragged west as it reaches the south coast.  Nice if it went north east though!

Managed to get a kick off the Thames !  not sure it’s finished yet either though the direction of travel could soon be a little further north than s herts  - pleasant little surprise to finish off with

My gosh it is spooky and post-apocalyptic looking out there with the snow blowing every which way.Any thawed patches are now completely covered again. Its the sort of night that Black Shuck and Spring-heeled Jack would like to be out walking, I'm so glad I'm indoors with the curtains drawn and the doors locked.

Chucking it down again in Norwich. Just STOP now please. For the first time in 3 days we could drive out of our village this afternoon and now this.

I have been a lover of snow since I was a little girl and all the magic that seemed to come with it ... maybe it’s because I work with the elderly or maybe it’s coz I’m getting old ... it’s seems to have lost its magic for me anyway :(

but I hope you enjoy ur snow everyone and stay warm and safe :)

I agree. I think we could get another inch or two yet. This is turning into the heaviest fall of the winter! I doubt we’ll get there but we are headong towards the magic 10cms. Expecting to max out about 8!

Is that a small low pressure system rotating in the channel? Where the hell did that come from?

Was on the radar building since 5pm
