Snow still those very fine flakes, but much heavier now, can see it with the eyes no problem and not just in the lamplight, that and the snow on the ground is being whipped all over, by the morning we will have a few more centimeters and drifts, i am sure. Just settling down with a piping hot cup of tea, checked all the birds, all asleep now (seagull demanded his usual goodnight hug and kiss), just going to surf the internet now for a bit, youtube and daily motion mostly, and see if there are any old films or episodes of twilight zone to watch. Its on nights like this that I really miss Southernman's company, I hope that wherever he is, he is also enjoying watching the snow.

Barely any radar return over us here but the light snow is just coming down so thick.

Is that 'featherweight' or 'light heavy'?:D

That's what winter is all about. Love that! It's a nice way to end winter isn't it?

I was doing tea calls for the elderly, and took over a hour to get from one house to another that usually takes 5 mins ( had been a crash ) ... and yes lovely end to winter :)

Final bit of Thames assisted intensification here in Romford....not heavy by any means, but persistently covering the roads again!

Yes seems to be strengthening a little across north London. Small grains but coming down relatively heavy. Certainly got more than a couple of cms now. Not sure how long it will last
