Anyone want to take a punt at which way it's moving? Looks quite NW

Yes - I have a horrible feeling we'll get caught in a gap / it will energise to the north of us (talking about West London). We shall see.

Yep - just looking at that on the radar, we once again seem to be in the middle, action to the West and action the East. We've been very unlucky so far, barely a covering in places.

Minimal action around my way too.  Whilst it's been a good cold spell, I'm left feeling a bit underwhelmed again seeing epic snowfalls seemingly everywhere else.  Still, only 25 years give or take a few to the next similar event!! :yahoo:

We're caught in a gap,

we cant get out (because the trains and buses aren't running)

Although we love snow too much, baby

Why can't you see

what its doing to me

when we cant believe a word they say (on the weather forecast)

We cant go on with this weather

with this freezing ice,

and we cant build our dreams

on just freezing ice

yeah i have too much time on my hands.

Made it into work today, but now looking at when I can escape before I end up waiting at Liverpool street for three hours. Freezing Snizzle here at the moment.

Ugh.

Freezing rain here in southeast essex everything it hits it freezes, defrosted the car went down to the stables houur and the whole side of the car was a sheet of ice crazy, wasnt expecting more judging by last nights forcast of 10% chance of snow now that seems to of changed to 80 and looking at the radar southend had some heavier precip heading this way which i would imagine is goibg to be snow? ...

Good news @Uxbridge90

Band is increasing in intensity (in the dreaded gap). Hopefully we'll get a good couple of hours. Will probably zip through before stalling and fizzling out over the Midlands, as per the models.

Tiny sleety stuff blowing in a strong wind here. Not what I was hoping for.
