their could be a thunder storm soon in lowestoft

Looking primed for thundersnow as The Wash is giving some ooomph to the ppn.

EDIT: I got my geography a bit wrong there... I was looking at the North Norfolk coast!! :D

Look at the link in the isobars, suggesting some possible banding and longer spells of snow later on. Maybe even some thundersnow if we're lucky!

Nice covering n Peterborough now, hopefully we can catch some more showers incoming!

Peterborough looks like the ideal place to be for the next few hours. A good stream of showers pushing through towards you and no sign of them stopping.

Radar is looking amazing for South Lincs, Norfolk and East Suffolk right now, with plenty of energy in the ppn coming in off the North Sea... Good snowfall for you lot and an interesting night ahead for us further South and West. Let's see how far inland the ppn in get and how quickly the wind veers!

(RE-EDIT: I forgot to include Cambridgeshire then, plus now there is a county called Huntingdon and Peterborough?!?! (that one is new to me!) ... Ooops)

Massive flakes now... wow

Can you send the stream of showers straight down the A1 to St Neots instead going diagonal towards Northants please
