Teits, what about north herts? Please. :)

If I was honest so far what the Met O/BBC/Models have forecast compared to the reality has been very different for my location. So with that in mind I am sticking with the radar only.

All I can say is the peak of snow shower activity for your location and much of this region will be today/tonight. The risk lessens tomorrow from the SE of this region as we pick up a ESE,ly. Still expecting snow showers for N parts of this region till tomorrow afternoon.

Haha! Totally depends on what the low does Friday into Saturday, which I believe still isn't totally clear.

Yes, finally, the blob I was willing over to me in SWF is delivering. It won't last long but still.

Yes firming up now.

Tonight looks good indeed....

Good advection flagging.

And plenty of big snow falls continue to be a distinct possibility right-through the week.

Cannot understand the downbeat nature of some tbf...

We are just getting going here!!!!

Snowing for a solid 45 minutes or longer here now, 100% passed the 5cm mark but too cold to get up and measure :cold:

Cloud cover increasing here - very similar feel to yesterday albeit it a bit later in the day. Some more beefy looking showers to the South moving in the Canvey direction, South Essex looks a good place to be atm. Looks like I might catch the one above looks like it'll cross into Brentwood area.

Early days tbh, but probably not great is the answer at the moment. Once these shower train set up they don't move much. I suppose for us we only need a very slight shift but over the last few hours we have seen less and less showers so were just feeding of the scraps. Maybe a couple of CMs overnight if we get lucky.

Thanks you were spot on lol hardly got a covering

Worth highlighting the risk of heavier more prolonged snow tomorrow morning for Essex, Suffolk, Norfolk which then extends W across the region. The highest snowfall amounts obviously in the E.
