Light snow here again now. Fun, isn't it? Beefing up on the radar as well.

Will I get anything done today... working from home is a blessing and a curse.

You still think there's scope for that, BA? Maybe it's the old rose-tinted glasses overegging the severity of winters gone by! It just feels a bit 'wrong' at the moment - maybe it's the lateness of the season and length of the days making it feel more Spring-like than it actually is. Not temp wise but psychologically at least.

The shortwave dropping south tomorrow distorts the flow which is a shame

i wouldn’t discount anything over the next 72 hours

Hmmm hope it gets better than this. Annoyingly the metoffice forecast map doesn’t appear to be working

Worth taking note of BA's post, anything could and probably will happen over the next few days. It's still relatively early on, warnings etc don't even kick in till 12 and so many showers weren't forecasted at this point.

Well looking at the all the forecasts its not looking good for those in NW London at all until the possible snow of Friday which will be right at the end of this cold spell. It seems we are stuck between all the areas where snow showers are to set up today and tomorrow and then the SE wind dries the whole region out due to the short sea track. It really does go to show that 1991 and 1987 must have had something really special going on to cover 90% of our area in deep snow!

This was butlins resort in Skegness earlier! So things aren't looking too bad for tonight. I did see that they were the first to be hit at 11pm last night though.

widely 1-2cm across Hunstanton from the past half hour of on and off heavy snow, in the shade of my garden where it's mostly stayed is at just under 4cm!

Pictures soon to come of snowy hunstanton beach..
