I have a feeling that these are seriously under estimated

I agree with you there. Time for North Sea to become a snow machine..

Evening evening Southend calling.

Technically we are border patrol so will be floating between both threads ?

I'll join you then on the wall. Winter is coming after all.

Tomorrow will be very telling, if forecasts are exceeded on what will be a day of sunshine and showers then Tuesday and Wednesday could be quite troublesome in terms of snow depths and transport disruption.

Not even going to mention the end of the week. :help:

Alas for me, a half 4 start so I am off now.

Feb 09 was similar to this one, we awoke to a surprise 7 inches of snowfall from North Sea showers!

Lots of reports of very light snow all along the east coast but nothing on radar, just goes to show how conductive the north sea is.

Let's hope for a repeat! Given the conditions this week, you have to think we'll see plenty of showers pushed this far west.

Netweather radar definitely showing pockets of precipitation building off the North Norfolk coast! It's about to commence, what we've been waiting for, for years!

I tried that but it makes text too small which means zooming in and then sliding screen across to read everything and really that' far too exhausting
