Is it here I’m meant to be in ?

I’m in both! Your guess is as good as mine, I can see why it’s been split, London being the capital and a lot of us from here but no other regional threads have been cut in half, oh well ?

Now the mad frenzy of everybody choosing between north and south is just about over we can probably put our focus back onto the radar and watch out for the first few signs of activity..

C'mon BA, let's have some hope! Haha.

We will obviously get some showers over the next few days - a shift on the wind flow and the strreamer could even head our way!

I don`t want to put a downer on things but don`t expect anything tonight in this region. Throughout tomorrow I would expect.

Technically this one. I'm South East Essex too, but we're smack bang in the middle of the two threads, so visit both.

My regards to Linford and East Tilbury - used to live and work at Bata's in the '60s. Taught Linford kids to play the piano too in the church hall! All famous now I expect!

Gritting tonight at 2am, non stop double run( the route twice) 20g of salt chucked out the spinner on every full spin, so 40g in every bit of road effectively by morning, believe me ringway Jacobs and Essex council are stressing beyond belief. Hate night runs but there is an upside when snow is forecast, instead of being called on a run, just because road temps are at -1c.

Hope it all goes well for you, and thank you!

Greater Anglia trains contingency plans for tomorrow.

Well that's jinxed it. I remember they did this before a forecast easterly that failed to produce anything except drizzle and a few patches of slush. Might have been 2005 but not sure.
