Moving sw saint. Hope it won’t be too frustrating in south Herts.

Yeah I know that it is moving SW across the country, but still it looks more eastward than when I had last checked the models etc.

I am quietly confident that we'll see snow falling here before Thursday through showers.

ok, so if they are already cancelling trains from norwich to yarmouth with no bus service tomorrow, unlikely i'm travelling in a few days, i can take the ordinary bus to nrwich and make my way to the station, but ill have to walk from bus station to bus stop with heavy bags and its some distance, also for coming back late at night i'd get stuck in norwich.

Can we safely say anything can happen between now and X regarding snow in our `NEW` regional thread?

Pretty exciting week ahead but also concerning at the same time.

Gritting tonight at 2am, non stop double run( the route twice) 20g of salt chucked out the spinner on every full spin, so 40g in every bit of road effectively by morning, believe me ringway Jacobs and Essex council are stressing beyond belief. Hate night runs but there is an upside when snow is forecast, instead of being called on a run, just because road temps are at -1c.

The last time checked Essex what part of East Anglia, unless Essixt has happened?

I think that wordplay might need some work.....

Historically East Anglia is east of the A1, Norfolk, Suffolk, N Essex and S Lincs :)

I'm still visiting both threads.

I will probably do the same, I'm not entirely sure which I belong in (South Woodham).

Technically this one. I'm South East Essex too, but we're smack bang in the middle of the two threads, so visit both.

Oh no, the threads have been split :(  I fear I may be in the less busy one :(

Feel free to visit both threads, the pace of the combined thread was the pace we want those snow showers to be travelling at as they would have arrived by now and dumped six inches on everyone. :p

Exactly my thinking, slightly more inclined to here hence the post. But as it's borderline I'll check in both.
