Whats the response in the mad thread steve

Well - we are dignified in the SE- sadly most of the blizzards have gone elsewhere - I guess thats the way the cookie bounces sometimes...

Down to 0.7c now sun dropped out after a brief flirt with 1.8c about 30 mins ago ( poss direct sunlight on sensor )

Movement in the ICON and GFS to keep the low further South on Friday.  Got to hope that movement is sustained on future runs as it would keep our area in much colder uppers.

Very good to see! Let’s hope this continues over future runs, but not too far south. I know that sounds fickle, but we don’t want the French pinching all our snow ??

Just had a heavy snow shower here leaving a small accumulation on the grass and some other surfaces. It is, however, melting quite rapidly which is surprising with such a low DP.

It is a long way out but because we stay on the cold side there's always more chances of snow from systems running along the South.

We maxed out at 1.7 in Locksbottom today and temp currently 0.1.Wind freshening and like look of showers building in North Sea.Hope they keep expanding and penetrate further inland and cover more of the region:). Also like the look of trends for Friday for Low to keep moving Southwards. If it could move say another 30-50 miles more South and be further East and move through Channel that would mean an all snow event and the whole SE could go potty:yahoo::yahoo:. The margains are so small but it is possible although i appreciate not the most likely outcome. We can dream though

I wouldn't worry too much about who's in the zone for Friday or not just yet, we have a big event to get through first and by Friday you might be hoping not to be in the zone for a good dumping of snow

Let's not lose focus on what's right under our noses.
