There must be at least a couple of cms on the ground here but I'm having problems uploading pics off my phone. It keeps saying there was a problem processing uploaded file -200

I had the same problem.

So far Nick it's looking a lot more snowy out there then the high resolution models expected. The only one that seems to be close was the nnm which did correctly spot the line of snow coming through the Southeast this morning.

Yep Darren, models not picked up morning snow showers too well, certainly nice to see light to moderate snow showers already and we have potentially yet to see much heavier stuff arrive tonight as the convergence sets-up to give more than a dusting.

After a bit of sun and a little thaw of the dusting on the garden shed, the grey skies and snow returns.

To be fair though none was forecast for today anyway so they can skip merrily around here all day ! ;)

If we don't get any tomorrow or Wednesday (and more than 2 flakes) I will be apoplectic

Snow flurries all morning.  Temporary light dustings come and go.  It's not melting, it's vanishing.

Horsham has had a flurry!

And according to accuweather there's snow due here in 46 minutes.... but I won't hold my breath

It’s been coming down here in Epsom now for a few hours. It comes in flurries but never quite stops. Got some photos on my phone I’ll try and pop on later. Pretty impressive so far. Wasn’t really expecting it either!

Was living in Epsom during the really heavy snow I think 2009 and 2010. I had lived there since 1972 and only had deep snow a handful of times. Enjoy.

Looks like the low for Friday has shifted South a bit on the ICON and GFS.  Could be back in the game, it's looking more positive for the cold to remain here in the South, ergo BLIZZARD!!.

Caveat:  I'm really brave to say that!
