Had a dusting recently and now have the delightful snizzle. As this is frontal and not showery like recently, you’ll definitely have more there regardless - elevation will make a difference. You ‘up’ or ‘down’ in Reigate?

I’m in wood’atch by Earlswood Lakes so definitely ‘lower Reigate!’

Just started falling in Folkestone.

Was just coming back to report I can see a few small flakes blowing about up here. Please advise if it’s suddenly three feet deep down there so I can have a day off

Ah... and still you have more than me! Honestly, you get the off-cuts here in Horley, it really is a poor location for snow (generally I mean, not today). Perhaps I’ll go and pull up on the hard shoulder at junction 8!

Is this the whole event?

Is there more coming up? I can't see It on the radar??

Still light snow here in Farnham, Surrey but it's lovely to see!

The warning (MetO) is for Thursday afternoon so I'd assume not. Nice start to the day though.

Looking at the radar returns I should be under a heavy snow shower here in Hove...very odd as what im seeing isnt even close to the intensity that the radar is showing and its such a thin band that its likely to be gone soon.

Been up sice 4am watching this come in...I fear a lot of us might be dissapointed with this one...unless it somehow back builds and intensifies

A snowfest here, a few miles west north west of you. Quite a heavy fall going on. Hove should be being hit.

Pretty similar to other reports really, light snow with small flakes but very gradually getting a bit heavier

You can see this on the radar with two points of intensification - one running through the Thames and the other spreading North through Surrey and perhaps Sussex/Kent - hence the reports from Surrey currently. Hopefully we see some intensification continue through this band with further fronts arriving from the South as the day wears on

What I hope we are seeing as regards the radar stalling, is the warm air moving and manipulating the cold airmass it hits. As it is pushed further north, I'd expect snow to break out more widely, albeit stillmlightly in some places.

What I suspect I'm seeing is that I live TOO FAR EAST and will have diddly squat on top of my zilch.

Still, I'm excited for whatever the day brings.

Deal, East Kent.

Morning everyone hope you're well, I was lurking this thread last night and decided to sign up this morning. Before I went to bed last night there was a lot excitement about this low system moving more to the east is that still the case ?
