Still going here too:)

While my son and I are overjoyed with the snow, we are worried as husband has a lunch time flight from Heathrow tomorrow to help his mother who is ill in Cyprus. Our side road is well covered now, wondering if Ewell Road and the other main ones will be in good shape come the morning.

52 here, and feeling old.

Blackwall tunnel not looking great. Should be fun tomorrow at 5:30 when I’m driving through it

Great point and I have put that to Chris on tx

Interesting to note pressure map from 19z suggest there is abit of a kink in the flow over NE France that is probably helping to keep it all stacked up and preventing thus far the ESE/SE flow from getting going and the drier air from coming up.

Wonder if that is what is happening? We will see!

45, by the way. Lot of similar ages here.

I grew up in the West Country, so remember some a great winters in the early 80's, which certainly gave me the weather bug.

I grew up in the West Country too, and these past 48 hours with regular snow showers appearing throughout the day have reminded me of winters when snow came and went fairly regularly. I even had ice on the inside of the bedroom window (coal fired heating for too long) - luxury!

Few people asking where the precip is over France. Here you go.

The difference 4 miles make! I'm about a 10 minute drive from there and it's quite calm here.
