It's not on any models because this is all coming from cold air picking up convection from the reletively warmer sea.

So essentially this snow is coming from "nothing". There is nothing producing that snow.  It is random and the models cant pick up on something coming from nothing.  You can't  model what isn't their.

This cold spell is great, still has more to offer some areas adjacent to fence dfits of 20cm! Rotherhithe is like Narnia so weird to see little to no melt met today and flurry now... :cold:

Just got home to Feltham in West London from the capital and am astonished by the difference, hardly any snow here and central London was buried. Amazing difference for such a short distance.

Looks like the 70’s kids are in good supply then! ??On a weather related note it’s down to -3.2, can I beat last nights low -6.5?!

Would say is it snow blowing up into the radar field ..... but you don't get this over the sea!

Put this in the wrong thread lol. They didn't seem to notice though....

Light snow in Ashford. Back to work tomorrow but getting a bit concerned about driving up to Maidstone at 5am due to the ice. May have to give it a miss and go to the local office
