Slightly disappointed Romford resident popping my head in (Never been more annoyed that my ancestral home of Biggin once again got pancaked whilst I have nada :D)

Given the current amber warning for Thursday and Friday, is there scope for it to be extended eastwards before Thursday?

And am I correct that it'll be a form of battleground snow....frontal in nature rather than hit and miss streamers? (Not being dismissive of the folk who sat under one for ages, but slightly galling as you watch it pass you by....:p)

Thanks all, and hope you're enjoying the scenes!

Whiteout everything covered. :shok:

I see that shower on the radar.

It's heading this way, so hopefully it'll hold together.

Showers now becoming more heavy and persistent here in SE London. Back roads and pavements covered. Much more like it :D

Radar is just starting to pep up slightly, can see clouds over the sea beginning to thicken..

Hope so - nothing in the estuary at the moment! Wind direction perfect for a Thames steamer now.

Another good strength shower in Gillingham that was nowhere on radar. Convection already picking up over the water.

this is exactly what snow junkies want to see.
