Looking at NW radar the band keeps on coming out of Northern France(just by Lille) and track is North Westwards approximately.Looking at current speed i have at least another hour of moderate snow,maybe more so should have a good accumulation when it stops.Nice way to sign off this cold spell.

The radar shows it's invigorating in south Kent. Snowing quite heavily in Ashford

I’ve measured 3cm of fresh new snow on bare altches which were blown! Still coming down very nice and more to come this has been a fantastic cold spell.

Looks like Bromley here isn’t doing so badly after all it looks about 0.5cm in the last hour - can’t be sure how much longer we have looking at the radar

Covering the main roads near Croydon now, be a slow commute home for those working today

Paths are lethal where snow has blown off in the wind, sheet ice on them from this mornings  freezing rain, saw one chap fall over in the park, though now ice is being covered by snow

One runway closed for de-icing. Watched the de-icing and will have to do so again as the ‘window’ of it being useful is about to close! Drama...

In West Kent it's been snowing continuously, and sometimes heavily, for several hours.... wish I could send it your way as my husband is currently stuck on a train....
