I did say earlier people were believing this spell was over too early. Radar shows snow coming back into south London in about 30minutes and GFS looks better for midweek onwards. would be not surprised if tomorrow is colder than expected as the low tonight looks further east so will pull in more of a continental feed, slight thaw start of week before going cold again next weekend.

Yes, here in Horley too. Not sure what that is! Don’t want it to melt any of the snow on the ground though, so it needs to snow or do one!

looks like it’s swirling round towards us. The main ‘blob’ is on something of a northerly track but the rotation is pulling showers round to the east of it

While it looks like the end for this spell (or nearly - it’s still -0.7c here - will it stay below freezing until midnight to get another ice day?), I’ll leave you with this picture of Mrs Plum pulling the younger son back from sledging...

Just popped out to the car. It sounds a bit like the freezing rain we had earlier as it's definitely making a noise as it falls. Temps are up too. Stood outside for 5 minutes in jeans and t-shirt. Not frozen!

Yep, you never know.  NB, a cold spell might start to happen mid month, according to the model discusion on netweather.

Hoping for a little more snow overnight to top up the 1-2cm of fresh snow that fell this afternoon, just so It maybe less bumpy for the sledge I promised my son to take to a park with a grassy slope in the morning, will need to be fairly early before thaw sets in. 

Didn’t expect to be radar watching tonight!

I think we had ice or freezing rain.

NB that isn't my address that's where the weather station is.
