Band is weakening quite quickly now to my south (probably in response to the strengthening occurring further north and east) so I suspect any snow that falls will just be for effect now. Still a nice little top up of the snow pack.

After this band has gone that will probably be it for meaningful settling snow here this winter I suspect. Could still see some bursts at times in the next 1-2 days and maybe deeper into the month but I suspect this maybe it for deep settled snow here.

Right, I have loads of work to do but as this may be the last snow day for years I've decided to sack it off and go out and enjoy it :)

A brisk northerly kicking in in about 9 days, behind a slow-moving low east over southern UK, is the synoptics forecast. Could prove interesting if the cold air undercuts the low.

Just logged in, haven't read any posts. Said I'd re-post this winter only in the event of a snowy Friday, hence here I am! Very snowy and blustery Sutton, Surrey, right now.

Even if we don’t get much more today, I’m happy to settle for the almost 5 inches we’ve had ?

About 2cm and probably this winters swansong. Still snowing and backbuilding in the Channel, perhaps another hour or so to go here on the coast I would think.

Light snow here in RP.  A dusting on areas where melt has occurred.

Considering how poor the whole thing was to start for us, I'd say our areas haven't done too badly at the end of it. Upto 4 inches here, all has fallen in the past 36hrs here as well which makes this a decent enough event despite the snow never really going much above moderate for most of the tme.

Heavy snow now in Ramsgate/Manston after this mornings Icestorm.

Everything white & topping up my garden nicely.

This will be it after today so im reasonably satisfied. Not blown away but its been a nice spell

What impressed me most were the very low temps especially for this late in the winter/spring

Had 4 snow events but each only giving a few c.m each time. ( still hwavy snow right now though)

Compared to other places i feel we missed out a bit but there are others that did worse than me so i will be thankful.

We give thanks to the Snow Gods & look forward to Winter 2018/19?
