With regards to the chance of more snow today, some lighter snow for western areas of our region area this afternoon, but for further east, maybe worth monitoring area to the  south over NW France coming up our way and maybe what HIRLAM is picking up on

BBC had 3C max for London today, then dropped to 2C, but that still looks to be too high, judging by current obs still looks 2-4C too high

There was never a warning in place for 10-15cm in our area for tomorrow.

It covered the whole of the south east south west etc ....

Beeb is going for light snow for here tomorrow afternoon.

I'm going for light rain tomorrow afternoon.

If it rains, go inland a little way, if you can, for snow. But the latest forecast is for a  decent fall tomo and ... no rain.

Not thought I'd ever say this but I disagree with you. I've been watching this all morning and thus far it's been going in a straight SW-NE line whilst expanding to the East and intensifying. I was worried it'd be pushed West or indeed pivot and been expecting it to happen at any point but so far it's not done that. I admit it's baffling as it should but no matter what radar or sat I look at it simply hasn't.

Aye

but it will do :(

Really not had anything in this area (Arundel) to write home about the past couple of days. Missed out on the northsea streamers and this mornings preciptation passed over with a super fine dusting that blew away in the wind lol.

Keeping a keen eye on things for tonight tomorrow, fingers crossed ??.

 Same here in Storrington

I must admit I've never been more confused about what's happening with a weather event than I have with this low from France or wherever today/tomorrow. Warnings are all over the shop - there, gone, back etc different sites showing different things, models etc...like what is happening??? :wallbash::rofl:

I feel like weather forecasts should just be able to say 'I don't know' sometimes. Feel like people would be more prepared that taking difficult to forecast weather as gospel.

The latest rader indicates you and the forlorn folk of Worthing may not be disappoined too much today.

Let's hope you're right Seb. Maybe it will get far too cocky and have nowhere else to go other than spill over into the South East...one can only dream. Still, very happy that the SE corner wasn't a fail this year and that many of you have been fortunate enough to enjoy oodles of snow.

I won't lie, I am absolutely green with envy watching that radar and the SW. That said, they too have been snow starved so look forward to pics and fingers crossed we all see a final flurry before we wrap this up!

Unfortunately I work work literally a few hundred meters from the beach, so can't really get much closer to the sea lol

We had a decent forecast for snow today, even though radar showed snow supposedly on us nothing fell for 99% of the time

Got a feeling tomorrow will be similar!

Even the AROME with it's very high resolution is doing a poor job at representing areas of precip compared to what we can see on the radar. Models are now pretty useless, just need to watch and see if the precip starts moving more northerly as modelled, or if it continues to have an eastwards component for a little while longer.

Really?

Seems we are on the extreme edge of the precip for the millionth time this week, there's currently nothing falling from the sky when according to the radar there should be lol

Conditions worsening here in Portsmouth, starting to lay on the roads with a fierce wind, snow getting heavier.

I'm looking at a couple of heavier bands a bit further south than the south coast.

That’s perfectly understandable but it’s always the same from you 365 days of year!

Things are certainly looking reasonable for our more western folk..
