Pretty much stopped here on the coast.  Is that it for the day? Looks like the usual parts of Kent are having it a bit heavier

Gaps filling in on radar - looking good -

heaviest areas ironically look in the zones that havent had a great deal so far - so fairs fair ❄️?

I hope your right Steve, because so far in Worthing all this cold spell has delivered is disappointment... not getting my hopes up though.

This really has turned into a superb, late Winter spell. Though, we have to resign ourselves to the fact, that all overnight runs, seem to want to bring in some milder air, over the weekend, courtesy of a developing, west based neg.NAO, signal.

Let's hope we can still get a little snowl, further into March.

Anyway, let's enjoy what we have coming, in the next couple of days.

Regards,

Tom.

We have indeed. We also had about 2 inches in 4 hours yesterday evening. Didn’t you get the same in Reading?

Another new joiner but have been following the boards for a while.

A lovely steady but a fine snow fall occurring this side of Redhill/Reigate.

Good to see another from around these parts!

Carol just said very patchy snow in SE with maybe a cm or so for Kent but further accumulations the further WEst you go so Surrey and Hampshire look to be in sweet spot.Looks like HIRLAM is a bust according to BBC?. Very confusing but i suppose after what happened yesterday it was a fluid situation and maybe expect the unexpected?Nothing ever simple when snow is forecast is it!!
