That's what I thinking, to far over, cracking end to winter though

Quite right too, lots of freezing weather and so late in the season. A memorable cold snap and I've seen falling snow a few times this week for the first time in years! Good show 17/18.

Moderate snow here in the far west of the region. After a 4 hour spell of snow yesterday evening/night, there is drifting and scouring from the wind. Pretty localised as I understand but an outstanding period in my locale.

Another new joiner but have been following the boards for a while.

A lovely steady but a fine snow fall occurring this side of Redhill/Reigate.

Hoping that on the south-west Surrey and west-Sussex border, Horley doesn’t yet again find itself in the precipitation gap with a system approaching from the south and west ?

Too many worrying that the current band over the south is it for today...

Look west of Bordeaux/Nantes (Bay of Biscay)...

Here is where the snow later today will arrive from. It looks showery for now but as it pushes up from the south and hits the block, it will begin to squash together and form a more organised band perhaps more intense than what we are seeing now. If nothing is showing at lunchtime... maybe then you can worry

Meanwhile light snow settling on Hastings seafront.

We have indeed. We also had about 2 inches in 4 hours yesterday evening. Didn’t you get the same in Reading?

Pleased to note that we have light snow here in Charlwood, (Gatwick), and the skies look leaden.

Asking again, which snow forecast radar app do people suggest please? Only have Rain Alarm Pro on my phone.
