Evening

After a low of -5.5c here this morning we hit the heady heights of -2c here today. Snow intact where the sun didn’t touch and lots of ice about too. 

Currently quite windy from the NE and -3.6c. Supposed to be dry all day but as I type there are flurries blowing (horizontally) in the wind!

This is insane we’ve had over 4 cms in the last 2 hours here to top off what we’ve had overnight last night, truly a winter wonderland here atm ?

Yeah that's a Thames streamer now almost perfect flow alignment now for North Surrey wonder how long it can last..

Where did all these showers pop up from..? Been crystal clear skys today and now the snow is falling again... Fantastic.. ❄❄❄☺

Yes, making it's way all the way to north Hampshire. Been several showers over the last few hours. Snowing moderately at the moment.

Hmmm trying to track the snow but MerOffice have ‘turned off’ their less used pages due to unprecedented demand, hmmmm surely the rainfall radar would be one of the most used?! Poor service and heading over to the weather channel... no snow here yet though ?

I have just navigated the ship from Eltham to Home- Heaviest snow was dartford heath- total white out on the A2 -

Then stopped at bean ( reverse of the other night )

Got this snap of the drifts -

 

First thing I dis was look at the ECM & lol -

I posted in the MOD thread earlier saying the cold had been extended- ECM gives us lots more snow

Looking alpine here still but lost 3-4 cm today - needing a top up this eve !
