Not sure of any SW movement in the showers, it's just the Thames beefing them up and expanding them. Still moving WNW....

We've been hammered in Rotherham approaching 10cm overnight and lots more to come! Could not 20cm by days close! A trough due in at 12 will enhance convection again

Sorry wrong thread!

Possibly yes -

Looking over in (a very quiet) MOD thread, what’s the outlook for us West Kent tomorrow and Friday? So much chopping and changing I can’t keep up and hardly any posts this morning to clarify!!!

It's gone if you click on the warning maps page, but still showing on the forecasts for some reason.

Wind picking up, some drifting snow, shower just to the east..could the Thames be turning it’s snow machine on...

The winds are perfect for streamer from now until about 2pm and there is convergence zones towards London uppers minus 14 over us and minus 16 out to the sea.. Models not showing too much snow probably to the DAM increasing but with temperature gradient of over 20degrees they may be underestimating the convection.

It's already snowing in E/NE London currently. Moving towards central London.

The wind is picking up here and starting to blow the snow about. Will be chaos in the E where there’s loads more snow, be safe everyone.
