Woke up 2 winter scenes in Greenhithe N/W Kent. Lovely snow to walk on, nice and squeaky like Alpine snow

Just measured 6cm! Fallen in a hour impressive. :)

I’ve seen nothing but dusting in five years, the snow shield has well and truly imploded still coming down steadily!

It's just cloudy here now. 5cm of snow on the ground. Impressive!

By the look of the radar that’s it for us today, are we likely to get the convection here or is it more of a Kent thing?

There looks to be more showers heading in towards the Thames Estuary, may get a few cms out of this!

Edit. The snow showers have arrived and the Thames streamer looks perfect for East Berkshire with a coveting already!

Had around an extra inch overnight.

Low got down to -9.6c! How often do you see snow falling in the SE at a temp of -7c.....incredible really!

Didn't get any extra snow here in Ashford overnight. The temp has certainly plummeted.Just noticed my neighbour has come home after leaving for work at 5 so the roads must be treacherous as I've never known him to take a day off.

Winter wonderland in Ashford after last night’s heavy showers. 6cm in 2 hour on top of yesterday’s.

Car showing -12, local weather station (a bit more sheltered than I am) showing -11.6.

This thread and the snow have been busy overnight!  We have had a little snow in Reigate, probably about 1cm or so, think we have about 2-3cm in total.

Yes, another cm or two has made it look very pretty out there. Despite the lack of snow, this is still the snowiest since 2013!

What a lovely morning. It really reminded of when I lived in Canada. This from the back garden today

Very light dusting in Sandwich so no snow day for me, great to hear other people had a boat load!

Anyone know what it's like Dover way, other half has just set off.

What are the thoughts on Thursday/Friday, great to see we are keeping the cold.

A very light dusting for me in Dover. Can still see the green of the grass in the garden.
