Is the radar a bit ahead of itself perhaps? :cc_confused:

Bluebell Hill messing with the showers and causing them to divert downslope towards Maidstone.  Larkfeild to Rochester seem to be shielded.

Am liking what I see in the Estuary in the last 3 scans. Steve you will be happy as wll

Lots more organisation of showers and definate ENE flow now sending them westwards up the Estuary.

Crucially showers are forming in the Optimum area now as well

Looking good people of this thread

A really awesome couple of nights/early hours, and ended up better than what was expected! - Some thunder, whiteout conditions at times and of course snow everywhere :)

Clear skies now with the odd snow flurry - Thanks mini beast from the east

Erm yep

Run the radar scans from 1130 to 1145 - Really organising now and outflow from each cell should aid and keep up the intensity. Am hoping the strong echo further NE can spawn a solid line down to the cell off the coast of Shoebury

This is resulting in more overnight snow then last night! The current radar is looking great! Just need the flow to continue!

Hi all, just popped in from the other thread... Looking great as far as a Thames streamer goes right now. The winds have veered to an Easterly and ppn is beginning to build nicely out in the Estuary. Some decent radar echoes too, so chances of thunder as well.

A bit of a surprise for many in the morning. Keep safe on those roads folks!

Just like others, Halling etc, it should be snowing here according to radar but not even a flurry. The sky is very orange though.

Just started in this part of Rochester, so give it a few minutes :)

Just as I post this, it's lightly snowing. Bit ahead of myself perhaps.

As I said about an hour ago watch for the line to become solid and organised with cells working with each others outflow and this has now happened - All gunna march east now

Shall I be one of the hardy few who stay awake or catch a few ZZZs...? Mind it’s so blimming cold out there that anything that does fall is hardly going to go anywhere.
