Surely Hayward's Heath isn't going to get back to back snow nights?

For those in East Kent (Sandwich, Deal, Dover, Folkestone etc) It looks like there are a few showers out in the channel that might find their way to us in an hour or two. Hit or miss and they don't have much intensity, but every little helps!

That last batch dropped south and west towards Horley and Gatwick.... The winds look to have changed a bit on the radar so the next batch might be better and the ones further out.....???

Oh no it didn’t!

Been a great day for snow. A pic from the close today and one just recently tonight

Ah, a lot of people I work with are down that way. They were confused about there being no snow in Dorksville. I tried to explain why but not sure it really stuck (a bit like today’s snow).

All the showers seem to either to the south or north, even the one's that look primed for me end up veering off

I don’t think tonight holds much promise but looking ahead to tomorrow evening/ thursday 12am onwards looking really rather good ?

Just hoping it doesn’t all change tomorrow ?

If you put the animation on the radar and compare to the previos tracks, then big ones currently just off Clacton might just track over Surrey.....

now down to -7.8c - coldest since 2010. No new snow flurries so suggests we are under clear skies. How low can we go? double digits?

Funnily enough I've had the same conversation today with work colleagues.... Very frustrating
