Rapid fall of temp! -4.1c to now -5.4c in 30 minutes. This morning, we got down to -6.9c, should beat that comfortably

-3c here which is remarkable for so early in evening , can only imagine if we had snow cover !!

All talk of another Kent clipper. Has anyone actually looked at the radar returns?

It shows a widespread convection of snow showers that are on and off currently. I’d punt that if we are to see any further significant snowfall overnight rather than fleeting showers then we ALL need to see a change in wind direction (Whatever flow suites you) I’m quite happy keeping the snow from today and for ages what seems keeping it to tomorrow, who knows what will happen overnight?

Well it’s a shame for the areas close to me. I really expected that this was going to be more wide spread with potential Thames activity.

Obviously it’s great to see any areas in our corner getting snow, especially so late in the season.

I cant get excited about Friday as if we hit the jackpot it’ll all quickly get thawed and washed away over the weekend.

Hopefully something has changed though and next winter will bring something special earlier and feed all our snow appetites.

Absolutely mad the differences in temperature between BBC and met office forecasts for London on Thursday/ Friday.

from Met and from BBC. Seriously?

I'm wondering who has verified more so far?

I also noticed the BBC 6.25 forecast that they have moved Thursdays/Fridays potential event West. So according to them no snow.

I'm really, really trying hard to be positive I promise, I'm not a moaning Minnie and I am truthfully please so many have settled snow! I just so desperately want some!

I want 'the day after tomorrow' and I've got jaws 4!! ?

Temp (Farnham,Surrey) -3.9

dp -6.0

clear skies

I do love the cold though! Anyone else have their bedroom windows wide open when it's this cold and loads of covers!! ?

But surely the covers stop you being cold! Might be easier to just sleep under the stars [and a snowflake or two, if you're lucky!].
