Total non event here. Even when I was out walking earlier, the sun felt warm and I didn’t get cold at all.

The biggest surprise has been airport TAF’s. For an aviation service supposedly providing accurate forecasts to pilots, they have been way off the mark. Last night Heathrow, Luton and Stansted all predicted snow showers throughout the night, but nothing happened.

These same airports are forecasting the same tonight, but apart from Stansted, I see little potential at Luton and Heathrow.

I'm really, really trying hard to be positive I promise, I'm not a moaning Minnie and I am truthfully please so many have settled snow! I just so desperately want some!

I want 'the day after tomorrow' and I've got jaws 4!! ?

Temp (Farnham,Surrey) -3.9

dp -6.0

clear skies

I do love the cold though! Anyone else have their bedroom windows wide open when it's this cold and loads of covers!! ?

Was a light dusting on Hastings seafront at 6am then an inch or so come 7.30am. Nearly 3 inches by 11am then the sun came out. Some snow showers passing through the channel an hour ago and more to come this evening it seems!

Not gonna lie, I was expecting much more from this event. Only had a dusting since yesterday. I got more snow in December. I'm happy for all those that have had larger amounts of snow. Now I'm looking forward to Spring.

next show is on Thursday apparently, just before it turns rain on Friday. I don't think we will get any more snow until then in Brighton.
