Temp -0.8

dp -3.0

Alternating between small snow showers and blue sky, nothing settling though! ?

Feeling very lethargic and a bit fed up! Got work to do and shopping to put away! Not doing either!!! ?

Someone cheer me up!!!' ?

3rd shower in 90 minutes here. Each time it leaves a tiny dusting of dandruff which mostly melts before the arrival of the next! Liking the look of that one approaching the City though, bit more oomph!

I feel your pain, it's just the same here.

With the flow turning more easterly, we 'may' see a more favourable streamer develop for us further west.

I have seen many inches from a Thames streamer before, but the wind really has to be a perfect easterly for us to the west.

Latest guidance calls for all snow, heavy at times combined with 25-45mph winds on Thursday for the entire Southeast (relevant warning issued about an hour ago - https://www.metoffice.gov.uk/public/weather/warnings#?region=se&date=2018-03-01&regionType=area ) and more of the same on Friday (relevant warning updated to expand Southeast a few minutes ago - https://www.metoffice.gov.uk/public/weather/warnings#?region=se&date=2018-03-02&regionType=area ) and the potentially more of the same on Saturday before milder air arrives (relevant warning issued a few minutes ago - https://www.metoffice.gov.uk/public/weather/warnings#?region=se&date=2018-03-03&regionType=area ).

Confidence:

Thu  -85%

Fri - 70%

Sat - 60%

That' actually a pretty scary update even if only 50% of it came off!

Very cold tonight -6/-8c

Did you know the snow ratio goes uo every 1c we drop

Hoping to be in the sweet spot tonight however expecting depths of 40cm with tea time tomorrow for some areas of kent

which I do believe was highlighted at the start

if we hit the jackpot thur / fri then North of 50cm is a reality somewhere in kent!

Just shows you that despite sub zero air temps and dew points, not much can get in the way of that late Feb sun! I have to say, I am surprised by this. I wasn't expecting so much snow melt with the conditions we have.

Sorry that  little snow action has happened to the West of our region ,,,,,, we have had around 5-8cm on the Kent/ Surrey border ,,,

local school in Godstone shut for the day ,,,, now looks like our NE streamer has run out of gas .. suspect that snow activity will be light this evening and overnight ...

You agree with what I've been told by my mate who gets detailed MetO updates due to his job? All forecasts I can find, regardless of text or app seem to support this. Haven't had a chance to look at models output myself.

A Thames streamer hopefully, because that's my only chance here!

Lovely over the South Downs today. Must have been 7-8 cm in the spot where this was taken

As I posted earlier...IF ARPEGE is on the money. Another 2-5cm widely overnight, perhaps more towards mid-north kent (again!)

ARPEGE for tomorrow morning.

I think we put the kibosh on snow here when I'm 2010 we got stuck in our steep lane for 2 weeks so we decided to get one of these! Since then hardly a flake! ?

I do love my truck though! ?
